Portable, Integrated
Mobile Wireless Hub
With its Wi-Fi radio, the SFE Cam turns your IP camera into a portable hotspot with VPN access to headquarters. You can use this hotspot to connect laptops to begin post-processing, or even connect another IP camera for video streaming. Having a hotspot that travels with your IP camera gives you additional flexibility when and where you need it the most.
Centrally Manage Data Plans, Track Location
Use GPS to track the location of each IP camera, ensuring that the event is covered from all angles. For deployments involving multiple IP cameras and pooled SIM data, you can use the InControl central management platform to monitor SIM card data usage. If your network goes over the bandwidth limit on any SIM card or SIM pool, you will receive e-mail notifications.
SpeedFusion Engine CAM solution explained By JVC PRO USA
John Basile, JVC product specialist, provides an overview of the SFE-CAM
Use Case. Live News Coverage
In this deployment, the SpeedFusion Engine Cam (SFE Cam) streams the video to the datacenter using the combined bandwidth of two LTE connections, ensuring reliable and consistent connectivity. The video stream is received by a Balance router at the datacenter and forwarded to the media server for decoding and post-processing. Within the SpeedFusion connection, WAN Smoothing and FEC mitigate the effects of packet loss, ensuring smooth and consistent video streaming. Each cellular connection supports a redundant SIM card, so you can choose between four carriers.
The SFE Cam connects directly to your IP camera using the Gold Mount or V-Mount and the RJ45 Ethernet LAN port, enabling you to quickly set up and live stream from anywhere. The SFE Cam is equipped with a Wi-Fi radio which can either be used as another WAN for bandwidth bonding or as a hotspot to connect another IP camera.
